Anthony Gasbarro, 87, of Natrona Heights, passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021 at John J. Kane Regional Center, McKeesport. He was born March 16, 1934 in Leechburg to the late Patsy and Maria (Rocci) Gasbarro. Anthony has lived most of his life in Natrona Heights and was a carpenter for MA Gasbarro Contracting for 26 years. He was of the Catholic faith and a veteran of the Korean era serving in the Marine Corps. Anthony graduated from Leechburg High School where he was the captain and quarterback of the football team. He was also Sgt. of Police in Leechburg for a number of years and was owner operator of AJ Gasbarro Home remodeling.
Survivors include his son Michael A. (Lori) Gasbarro, of Freeport; grandchildren Michael Anthony Jr. and Evan William Gasbarro. Also surviving are his stepchildren Kevin Smith, Eric Smith, Brian Smith and Kathleen Smith and a sister Diana Gasbarro, of Wilmington, Delaware. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Jean (McClung) Gasbarro, son Mark J. Gasbarro and 14 brothers and sisters.
