Arthur J. "Artie" Errico

Arthur J. “Artie” Errico, 66, of Arnold, passed away with his family by his side on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh following a brief illness. He was born September 16, 1956 in Harrison Township to the late Donald A. and Frances M. (Caruso) Errico. Artie lived most of his life in Arnold and was a self-employed dental technician for 50 years. He was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington and a 1974 graduate of Valley High School. He was a member of Citizens volunteer fire Co. #1, Arnold, where he was former chief and President, Western PA Fireman’s Association, Westmoreland County, Hunter & Fisherman Club, New Kensington, where he was a former officer and Springdale Sportsman Club. Artie loved music, good food and cigars. He especially enjoyed his family who meant the world to Artie.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Carol A. (Evans) Errico; daughters Janene M. (Jerry) Krajci, of Lower Burrell and Nicole R. Kress, of Arnold; grandchildren Nate, Angelina, Danika and twins Dean and David. Also surviving are his siblings Albert D. (Julie) Errico, of Elgin, IL and Anita J. (Bill) Errico-Smith, of Ft. Pierce, FL. Artie was loved by his nieces, nephews and godchildren. Besides his parent’s he was preceded in death by his son in law Jason D. Kress.

 Visitation 2-4 & 6-8 PM Friday and Saturday from 11:30-12:30 in Duster Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 347 E 10^th Ave, Tarentum. Christian funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday at 1:30 PM in St. Joseph Church, New Kensington. Burial will be private. Arnold fire department will hold a memorial service Friday at 7PM in the funeral home.
