Arthur J. Vascik

Arthur J. Vascik, 75, of Buffalo Township, passed away Monday, October 10, 2022 at St. Margaret Hospital, Pittsburgh following a brief illness. He was born April 28, 1947 in Tarentum to the late Joseph and Virginia (Jannello) Vascik. Arthur lived the past 50 years in Buffalo Township and was a Field Engineer for Eastman Kodak in Greentree for 30 years. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in Vietnam. Arthur graduated from Tarentum High School in 1965 and was a WPIAL swimming official, NCAA swimming official and a WPIAL football official.

            Survivors include his wife of 51 years Kathy (Liles) Vascik; his sons William J. (Michele Meanor) Vascik, of Avalon, Kevin A. (Debbie) Vascik, of Friendswood, TX and Scott M. (Ashley) Vascik, of Falling Waters, WV; grandchildren Danica, Joshua and River. Also surviving are his siblings Bernadette Vascik, of Leeper, Elaine (Joe) McCullough, of Tarentum, Celeste Kennedy, of Port Mugu, CA, Raymond (Cynthia) Vascik, of Kittanning, Michael Vascik, of Marienville and Gerald (Lora) Vascik, of Milton, FL.

            Visitation Monday 4PM until the time of service at 7PM in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10^th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 with Rev. Dr. Frank M. Yesko, officiating. Burial will be private in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights. In lieu of flowers family suggests contributions to Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley, New Kensington or Tarentum Area Lions Club.
