Barbara Lee Burke

Barbara Lee Burke, 65, of Vandergrift, passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, November 29, 2021. She was born June 28, 1956 in Greenville, PA to the late Philip and Katherine (Hoffman) Moynihan. Barbara has lived the past 33 years in Vandergrift. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and walking her dogs. Barb worked at Pop Stop in Vandergrift for 15 years and was a manager for Long John Silver’s for numerous years.

Barb was of the Catholic faith. She graduated from Greenville High School, Mansfield State College with a degree in Dietary Science and also, attended Misericordia Culinary Arts Institute.

            Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Bruce A. Burke; her siblings Phil “Bud” (Marcy)  Moynihan of Ft. Pierce, FL, Kathy (Kim) Williams, of Greenville, Mary (Gilbert) McGarvey, of Greenville, Beth (Drew) Robertson, of Farmington, NM and Tina Moynihan, of Coraopolis. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Gertrude “Trudy” Ferraraccio and 2 great nephews.
