Barbara A. Curry

Barbara A. Curry, 79, of Vandergrift, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2023 at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. She was born July 5, 1944 in Brackenridge to the late Craig and Leona M. (Reesman) Gamble. Barbara lived in Tarentum and Brackenridge and most recently in Vandergrift. She was a homemaker and a member of Wesleyan Methodist Church, Lower Burrell. Barbara enjoyed cards, Gospel music, singing and her church.

Survivors include her children, Donald (Helga) Wohlfeil, of WI, Jeffrey J. Wohlfeil, of Brackenridge, Shelly (Robert) Greenawalt, of New Bethlehem, Tammy (Brian) Ellis, of Kittanning, and Jeffery Curry, of Vandergrift; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Also surviving are her siblings, Robert (Debbie) Gamble, of Eighty-four, PA and Marion Eshenbaugh. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael B. Curry, daughter Bobbie Jo Curry and sister Grace Crawford.
