Barbara J. Riblet

Barbara J. Riblet, 78, of Brackenridge, passed away at home, Monday, December 19, 2022. She was born December 30, 1943 in Erie, PA to the late Frank and Agnes (Veklotz) Stroker. Barbara has lived in Brackenridge since 2011 and prior to that in Erie. She was a clerk in the Erie Post office for 22 years and a member of Grandview Alliance Church, Erie. Barbara graduated from Academy High School and enjoyed gardening, crochet, crossword puzzles and playing Yahtzee with friends.

            Survivors include her children Kevin R. Sornberger, of Erie, Shawn M. Hollenbeck, of Brackenridge and Jason T. Sornberger, of Erie; grandchildren Kevin and Allison Sornberger, Jhasmyne and Jhaden Gilbert, Abigail Hollenbeck, Aiden and Carter Sornberger and great grandson Jaxon. Also, surviving is her siblings Frank (Bertha) Stroker, of North Point, FL and Judith Wagner, of McKean. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her former husband Gerald Riblet.
