Barry G. Vunora, 78, formerly of Tarentum, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Corner View Nursing Home, Pittsburgh. He was born November 22, 1942 in Tarentum to the late James S. and Elverda (Acre) Vunora. Barry lived most of his life in Tarentum and the past 8 years in Penn Hills. He worked as a mover for Weleski Transfer in Tarentum, Pullman Standard of Butler and Giant Eagle of New Kensington. He was a Vietnam veteran serving in the US Army and attended Calvary Baptist Church, Natrona Heights. Barry was a member of Tarentum Jednota and was a 1962 graduate of East Deer High School.
Survivors include his son Barry G. Vunora, Jr., of West Deer Twp., sisters Doris L. Pozorski, of Fawn Twp. and Judy A. Iwinski, of Lower Burrell and a brother James V. Vunora, of Newnan, GA. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by first wife Peg (Cass) Vunora, his second wife Patricia L. (Smith) Vunora; and sisters Viola J. Vunora and Beverly Jean Good.
