Beverly Ann Carnahan

Beverly Ann Carnahan  of Brackenridge, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 25, 2023. She was born on June 18, 1932, in Wheeling, WV, to the late Ralph Gibbons and Mary Ellen Dunleavy Gibbons Brown. She was a graduate of St Joseph’s Academy in 1950 and the Wheeling Hospital School of Nursing in 1953. She married Robert L Carnahan on May 1, 1954 and they were married for 63 years before his death on March 4, 2017.

She is survived by her children: Robin (Mark)  Kuchta, Charles (Christine) Carnahan; Linda (Ronnie) Long and Katie Carnahan and her four grandchildren: Luke (Aileen Sun) Carnahan; Neil (Noelle) Carnahan; Brigid (Brian) Gibson and Ryan Lindveit and great grandson,  Charles Yang Carnahan.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her stepfather, Andrew Brown.

Beverly was a very active volunteer with Highlands Area Meals on Wheels and the Community Library of Allegheny County. She was the oldest member of the Elf, Cookie and Bunny Brigades.
