Brenda Lee Miller

Brenda Lee Miller, 61, of Harrison Township, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2025 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, after being ill the past 6 months. She was born December 18, 1963 in Harrison Twp. to the late Robert J. and Patricia (Vorpe) Van Tassell, Sr. Brenda lived most of her life in the Harrison Twp. area. She was an assembler at Bayer Pharmaceutical, Saxonburg. Brenda was of the Methodist faith and a 1981 graduate of Highlands High School. She enjoyed cooking, traveling and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Shannon L. (Robert J.) Cataldi, of Robinson Twp.; 2 grandsons David M. and Joseph J. Cataldi. Also surviving are her siblings, Sara Jane (Gary) Bogan, of Russellton, Delbert Van Tassell, of Natrona Heights, Michael Van Tassell and Patricia Davidek, both of Tarentum. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings Katrina Smith, Robert J. Van Tassell, Jr., William Van Tassell and David Van Tassell.
