Brooke D. Smith

Brooke D. Smith, 36, of Tarentum, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born February 23, 1989 in Allentown, PA. Her parents are Dwayne E. and Lelsie (Griffith) Smith, of Tarentum. Brooke lived her entire life in Tarentum and was of the Christian faith. She was a graduate of the Children’s Institute in Pittsburgh and loved music, dancing and her friends at Allegheny Valley School. The family would like to thank the staff at Allegheny Valley School for their amazing care they gave Brooke this past 15 years.

Besides her parents she is survived by her siblings Kelly and Zachary Smith, of Tarentum. Brooke was preceded in death by her brother Matthew Smith, maternal grandparents Donald and Caroline Smith and paternal grandparents Wilbur and Beverly (Griffin) Griffith.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 11 AM in Christ Community Fellowship, 160 Singleton Rd, Sarver, PA 16055 with Rev. Nathaniel Huebert, 0fficiating. Burial will be Private.
