Carol Eileen Bosinec, 82, of Tarentum, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, December 3, 2025 in the Emergency Room of Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. She was born May 14, 1943 in Johnstown to the late Carl T. and Virginia (McCoy) Bloom. Carol lived most of her life in West Tarentum and Natrona Heights. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse at the former Citizens Hospital, New Kensington. Carol graduated from Marion Center High School and was an avid bingo player, enjoyed antiques, playing board games, music and ceramics. She especially enjoyed her family, children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Marie Bosinec, of Natrona Heights; granddaughters Lauren (Billy) Bessas, of NYC and Kelli Williams and Zachary Burroughs, of Verona. Also surviving are her sisters Darlene (Oscar) Delano, of Bowie, MD, Ellen (Ron) Sink, of Ft. Washington, MD and Alice Gray, of Indiana, PA. A number of nieces and nephews also survive. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Richard J, Bosinec, son Richard E. Bosinec, 2 brothers John and Edward Bloom and a sister Deanne Salyards.
Visitation will take place on Sunday from 12 Noon until 3 PM, a service will take place at 1PM with Rev. Darlene K. Ryniec, officiating in Duster Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Burial will be private in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Township.
