Carol A. Kulick

Carol  A.  Kulick, 65 of Tarentum, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022 at Magee Women’s Hospital, Pgh. following a 1-year illness. She was born, November 24, 1956 in Harrison Twp, a daughter of the late Ellwood & Celia  (Stepkoski)  McBurney.

Carol was a lifelong resident of Tarentum where she was a Nail Technician, operating her own  Salon for over 40 years. A Christian, Carol was a member of the Natrona Heights VFW Auxiliary and a social member of Brackenridge American Legion.

She graduated from Highlands High School in 1974, and also completed Beauty School at Forbes Roads. She was well known for her cooking and baking. Carol was an avid Pittsburgh Sports fan, but she especially  enjoyed spending time with her family.

Surviving are her children, Christy L. (Douglas)  Schoen, Natrona Heights, Evan T. Kulick at home, a grandson, Cooper  E.  Schoen, Natrona  Heights, and 2 brothers, Daniel E. ( Mary)  McBurney, and  David  C.  McBurney  both of  Tarentum.

Besides  her parents she was preceded in death by 2 brothers,  Richard and Kevin  McBurney, and a sister, Laureen  McBurney.

There will be a gathering of Family & Friends on Tuesday, Feb 1^st. from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 East 10^th Ave, Tarentum, Pa. 15084 724-224-1526. Burial   be in  St. Joseph  Cemetery,  Natrona Heights.visit:dusterfh.com.
