Carol E. (Collier) Sharp, 74, of Tarentum, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018 at home following a brief illness. She was born December 5, 1943 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Joseph and Lucille (Brooks) Collier, Jr. Carol lived in Tarentum since 1983 and prior to that Natrona Heights and Brackenridge. She was a Secretary for the former Kroger Supermarket in Natrona Heights for a number of years. Carol was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, Brackenridge where she was the Financial Secretary. She graduated in 1962 from Har Brack High School and Surgical Technician School in 1969. Carol enjoyed all sports especially the Steelers and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her daughters Melissa L. Sharp, Tarentum and April N. Sharp, Natron Heights; granddaughter Kaliah Pratt, Natrona Heights. Also surviving is a very good friend Tavaras Miller, New Kensington, siblings Leo Collier and Joann Thrasher, Pittsburgh; Aunt and Uncle, Charlotte “Mickey” and Rev. Edward Carter, Jr., Brackenridge. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a step mother Elsie Collier.
There is no public visitation, relatives and friends are invited to attend services in the Chapel at Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell, Tuesday April 24 at 11 AM with Rev.
