Carolyn J. Hooper

Carolyn J. Hooper, 80, formerly of New Kensington, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022 at Transitions Healthcare Autumn Grove, Harrisville, PA. She was born July 28, 1942 in Pittsburgh to the late Francis and Katherine (Wancilak) Lemp. Carolyn worked in sales for Kaufmann’s in Pittsburgh and was of the Catholic faith. She graduated from Baldwin High School in 1960 and enjoyed TV, radio, embroidering, coloring and painting.

            Survivors include her son William Churchill, of AZ and her siblings, Peggy Spalino, of Pittsburgh and Betty Churchill, of AZ. Also surviving is her care giver Libby Moore, of Beaver Falls. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brother James Lemp.

            Private family visitation was held in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10^th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Private burial was in Prospect Cemetery, Brackenridge. VISIT: dusterfh.com
