Chad E. “Hillbilly” Brestensky, 41, of Buffalo Twp., passed away at home on Sunday, January 14, 2018. He was born October 16, 1976 in Harrison Township to Daniel Brestensky, Brackenridge and Kathy (German) Kelley and step father Kenneth Kelley of Buffalo Twp. Chad lived the past 8 years in Buffalo Twp. and prior to that Saxonburg. He was a Glazier for various commercial construction companies in the Pittsburgh area for 20 years. Chad was a veteran of the US Army and of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding quads. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 21 years Sheila M. (Behnke) Brestensky; son Damien W. Brestensky and Paige Schreffler, Brackenridge, daughter Karis R. Brestensky, at home and a grandson Elliot Straughn. Chad is also survived by his siblings Chad Brukner and Danielle Brestensky: Paternal grandmother Leona Brestensky, Brackenridge and mother and father in law Regina (Messineo) and James Huet, Natrona Heights and father in law Keith Behnke, Buffalo Twp.
Relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of Chad’s life Friday from 4 PM till the time of service at 7PM in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Burial will be Private. VISIT: dusterfh.com
