Charles R. Altmeyer

Charles R. Altmeyer, 82, of Natrona Heights, passed away at home unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. He was born May 1, 1943 in Harrison Township to the late Jacob C. and Olga (Betush) Altmeyer. Charles lived his entire life in Natrona Heights. Charles worked in the #9 maintenance department for the former Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corp., in Brackenridge for over 30 years. He was a veteran of the US Army and member of Tarentum VFW and the Legion in Brackenridge and Natrona. Charles graduated from the former Har Brack High School in 1961. He enjoyed cards, horse racing, playing poker, shooting pool and was an expert at crossword puzzles. Charles was a great friend to many and will be sorely missed.
