Charles E. Edwards

             Charles E. Edwards, 79, of Arnold, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Platinum Ridge Center, Brackenridge. He was born August 14, 1943 in Pittsburgh to the late Ira and Althea (Mae) Edwards. Charles lived most of his life in Arnold and Tarentum. He was a laborer for Paper Craft in Blawnox . He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, Brackenridge and United Steel Workers.

            Charles is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and caregiver Selena Foster. Also surviving are his sister in laws Loretta Boyett and Patricia (William) Boone, both of Indianapolis. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Gail Edwards, June 11, 2023.

            Relatives and friends are invited to attend a committal service Monday at 11 AM in the chapel of Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights with Rev. Edward Carter, Jr. officiating.
