Charles G. "Chuck" Grimm

Charles G. “Chuck” Grimm, 88, formerly of Buffalo Twp., passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at St. Clair Hospital, Upper ST. Clair. He was born September 27, 1929 in Harrison Twp., to the late Frank and Blanche (Hazlett) Grimm. Chuck has lived the past 5 years in Peters Twp. but most of his life in Buffalo Twp. He was a Senior Technician for PPG Industries in Creighton and Harmarville. A veteran of the US Army serving in the Korean War. Chuck was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, McMurray and a former member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Brackenridge. He was a member of the Allegheny Valley MORA Club. He graduated in 1949 from Tarentum High School and was an avid bowler, enjoyed hunting and fishing and vacationing with his family.

            Survivors include his wife of 64 ½ years Mary Ann (Daubner) Grimm; children Mark A. Grimm, Welch, WV, Lori J. (Louis) Popiolkowski, Peters Twp.,  and Jeffrey P. (Vira) Grimm, Middlesex Twp; 2 granddaughters Sarah and Abbey Grimm, Middlesex Twp.; and a sister Ruth and her son Michael Grimm, Fawn Twp. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Ross Grimm.

            Visitation Monday from 10 am until the time of service at 1PM in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10^th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 with Rev. Dr. Jamison J. Hardy, officiating.
