Charles W. Voskamp, 93, formerly of Natrona Heights, passed away Monday, March 28, 2022 at Butler Memorial Hospital, after being ill for a number of years. He was born February 12, 1929 in Cheswick to the late Carl S. and Lydia B. (Armstrong) Voskamp. Charles was a retired Technician for Westinghouse R&D Center in Churchill Boro. He was a veteran of the US Army Third Infantry Regiment serving in the Korean War. Charles was a 1947 graduate of Springdale High School and attended the University of Pittsburgh. He was a life member of the National Rifle Association and the Amateur Trapshooting Association, member of Tarentum Sportsman’s Club, Brackenridge Heights Country Club and Trinity United Methodist Church. Charles enjoyed traveling, reading, trap shooting, golf and spending winter in Naples, FL.
Survivors include his nieces and nephew Carl (Christina) Voskamp, of FL, Lynn (Robert) George Schriner, of Valencia, Cheri (Joseph) Wineman, of NV and Cynthia (Michael) Ondras, of Cheswick. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Joan W. (Weidel) Voskamp in 2019, brother Carl S. Voskamp and sister Joanne Voskamp George.
