Clifford C. Garris

              Clifford C. Garris, 64 of Brackenridge passed away Saturday, February 17, 2024 following a lengthy illness. He was born July 31, 1959 in Harrison Twp, a son of the late Charles S. & Margaret Virginia (Acre) Garris.

Clifford lived most of his life in the Brackenridge area and worked in the receiving department of Allegheny Valley Hospital over 20 years, as well as being a D.J. for Line dancing at the country club of Apollo, and also worked for a number of years as a salesman for Harrison’s Men’s clothing store in Tarentum.

Clifford was of the Protestant faith, a veteran of the Navy, and a graduate of Freeport high school in 1977.He enjoyed golfing, coached softball, and Little League baseball, and enjoyed all sports.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Barbara A. (Baker) Garris, his son Clifford Steven (Tansy) Garris of Georgia, a daughter Amber L. (Devon) Bair of Brackenridge, and grandchildren, Caden, Tristan, Lexi, Evelyn, and Winter Ivy. Also surviving are his brothers, Charles Wayne (Donna) Garris, Philadelphia, and Roger (Jane) Garris of Texas. 

Visitation will be Thursday, 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the Duster Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 347 East 10^th Avenue, Tarentum 724-224-1526 where services will be conducted Friday at 11 :00 AM, with Rev.
