Curtis M. Coyne

July 14, 1951 — January 27, 2025

Brackenridge

Curtis M. Coyne, 73, of Brackenridge, passed peacefully at home, into the hands of the Lord, on Monday, January 27, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Curt was surrounded by his loving wife, family and friends.

He was born July 14, 1951 in Pittsburgh, to the late James and Kathleen (Paul) Coyne. Curt is survived by his devoted wife of 30 years, Lynn (Joswiak) Coyne, his children, Carter M. (Nicole) Millett, Sarah L. Molt, Jesse J. Millett; 7 grandchildren Brandon, Dominic and Justin Jochim, Adalene Millett, Savannah Molt and Hadley & Hayden Millett. Also surviving are his brothers, Cornel (Marg) Coyne and Collins (Jan) Coyne. Curt is also loved by many nieces and nephews. He was cherished by many friends and neighbors.

Curt held steadfast to his Catholic beliefs throughout his life, which gave him comfort in his final chapter.

Curt lived most of his life in Pittsburgh and Arizona. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy. He worked many years at Fortier Foods, before retiring from Corrosion Fluids. Curt’s passions included listening to many genres of music, spending time in the Allegheny National Forest and Florida Keys, and of course, spending time with his friends and family. Curt was the king of trivia and one-liners. He was always the calm to our chaos. His peaceful soul had a way to lighten any situation and make anyone smile.

You will never meet a kinder man than Curt Coyne.
