Dana P. Smith, 60, of Buffalo Township, passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. He was born November 15, 1957 in Harrison Township, to the late George and Ruth (Devroye) Smith. Dana lived his entire life in Buffalo Township. He was a crane man for Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corporation in Brackenridge for 36 years. He was of the Methodist faith and a member of Tarentum Eagles Aire 699 and a 1975 graduate of Freeport High School. Dana enjoyed his Harley Davidson’s, working on cars and was a true gear head. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife of 38 years Tracy Lynn (Albaugh) Smith; children Raelene Lynn (Jason Veri) Thompson, Tarentum and Cody Patrick Smith and fiancée Stephanie Croyle, North Buffalo Twp. and granddaughter Chloe Lynn. Also surviving are his sisters Connie Howell, Cherry Valley, Darlene (Joseph) McGough, Buffalo Twp. and Ruth Ann Marasia, South Buffalo Twp and father in law Raymond Albaugh, Tarentum. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Rusty Smith and mother in law Gail Albaugh. Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 where services will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM with Rev. George D. Marasia, officiating.
