Daniel J. Brestensky

Daniel J. Brestensky, 69, of Brackenridge, passed away at home Tuesday, October 11, 2022. He was born February 24, 1953 in Harrison Township to Leona J. (Klimkowski) Brestensky, of Brackenridge and the late Joseph M. “JB” Brestensky. Daniel lived his entire life in Brackenridge was of the Catholic faith and a 1972 graduate of Highlands High School. He was a Train car repairman for Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corp., Brackenridge for 40 years. Daniel was a former chief and life member of Pioneer Hose Company in Brackenridge. The fire company was his passion.

            Besides his mother, Daniel is survived by his brothers, Michael A. (Sharon) Brestensky, of Buffalo Twp. and Mark V. (Dawn) Brestensky, of Leechburg; nieces and nephews Carie (Trevor) Mahan, Nora and Aron Mahan and Michael (Gina) Brestensky. Besides his father he was preceded in death by his children Chad and Danielle Brestensky.
