July 17, 1950 — December 26, 2025

Lower Burrell

It is with great sadness and my deepest sympathy to inform you that David Brown, 75 of Lower Burrell, had passed away this morning, December 26, 2025 at his home. David was born on July 17, 1950 in Lake County, IL to the late Frank and Marilyn Brown. He was loved by all for his kind and gentle nature. Although he could not speak to us, his innocent spirit and loving presence spoke volumes and made him easy to love. David moved into our Regency home in 2003 to have a fulfilling life.

He moved from Whitehaven state center to Welsey Family Service group home(formally known as Family services of Western PA) living setting, where he was given the opportunity to enjoy activities, individualized care, and participate at NorthCo Vocational Program. In this nurturing environment, he was surrounded by the compassion and support he needed and was able to experience life in meaningful ways.

David especially loved going to NorthCo daily, where he was engaged and enjoyed moments of connection and socialization. At home, he found comfort and relaxation listening to music, sound machine, and loved the peaceful presence of his fish tank.

David touched the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him and will be deeply missed. We are grateful for the care, love, and dedication shown to him, and extend our heartfelt thanks to those who supported him with such kindness. A special thank you to Monarch Hospice.
