David devoted his career to FM Global, where he excelled as a Senior General Adjuster for FM Claims. Known for his dedication and professionalism, he was respected and admired by his colleagues.
David was an avid golfer, a passion that allowed him moments of joy and relaxation. Beyond the green, David was happiest spending time with his friends and loving family. He was known for his kindness, integrity, and the support he extended to all in his life.
David leaves behind his beloved nieces and nephews: JoAnn (Mark) George, Michael (Suzan) Hensel, Deborah Kyle, Judith (Joe) Strehlen, Kenneth Slodowski, Cindy (Gary) Sholly, Diane Hensel, and Matthias Hensel. David was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Madeline Hensel; his sister, Patricia Slodowski; his brothers, Henry P. Hensel and Robert Hensel; and his nieces Margaret F. Michaels, Mary Rose Hensel and nephew Gregory R. Hensel.
In David's memory, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. His family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to all who have supported them during this time.
The family honors his memory and invites those who knew him to remember and celebrate David's gracious spirit and contribution to their lives.
