David Glenn Ludwig

David Glenn Ludwig, 85, of Natrona Heights, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. He was born May 6, 1933 in Tarentum to the late Edwin and Nellie (Shearer) Ludwig. Glenn lived his entire life in the area where he was a Uniserv Rep for Pennsylvania State Education Association, retiring in 1991. Glenn was a veteran of the Korean era serving in the US Army. A member of Church of the Brethren, Natrona Heights. He graduated in 1951 from Tarentum High School and the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelors and Masters degree. He enjoyed gardening, golfing, handy work around the house, but he especially enjoyed his grandchildren.

            Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Judy A. (Limage) Ludwig; children David L. Ludwig, Melissa S. Ludwig, Joseph Ludwig and Amanda Carter all of Natrona Heights; 9 grandchildren Ashley, Adam, Aaron, Emily, David, Elijah, Sarah, Kurt and Jack and 2 great grandchildren Alec and Ezra. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by 3 brothers Edwin, Donald and Lee Ludwig and Sister Lois Ludwig.
