David A. McConnell

David A. McConnell, 66, of Tarentum, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2026 at UPMC St Margaret Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born May 15, 1959 in Lower Burrell, to the late Ray and Betty Lou (Waterloo) McConnell. David lived most of his life in Lower Burrell and Tarentum. He retired from PPG Paints as a Manager. David was an avid football fan of the Steelers, College and High School.

Survivors include his children Jason (Kriss) Rusiewicz, Jamie (Kris) Scheetz, Ryan (Vanessa) McConnell and Ryan (Miranda) Rusiewicz. Also surviving are his siblings Susan Mason, Timothy (Mary Ann) McConnell and Diana Rocco and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Toni Marie (Lentz) McConnell in September 2024.
