Della Marie Kamer

         Della Marie Kamer, 98, of Fawn Township, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at Easy Living Country Estates in Hempfield Township. She was born September 9, 1925 in Tarentum to the late William C. and Roxie (Thorne) Carter. Della lived her entire life in Fawn Township where she was a homemaker. She was a member of Center Methodist Church, Fawn Township and graduate of Tarentum High School. Della enjoyed painting, sewing and reading. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. 

            Survivors include her children, Hubert “Red” (Tamara) Kamer, Jr., of Scottdale, PA, Kathy (Jeff) Held, of Apollo, Susan “Sue” (Randy) Faloon, of Morgantown, WV and William “Bill” (Oksana) Kamer, of Casa Grande, AZ. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and one great great grandchild and her sister Shirley Cole, of Natrona Heights. 

            Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert L. “Hube” Kamer, Sr. in 2014 and her siblings Dora, Velma, Betty, Guy, James, Wilbert and Robert Carter. 

            Visitation 2-4 & 6-8 PM Thursday in Duster Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 347 E 10^th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 where services will be held on Friday at 11 AM with Pastor C. Drew Myers, officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights. VISIT: dusterfh.com
