Delores J. (Wickline) Metzler

Delores J. (Wickline) Metzler, 84, of Natrona Heights, passed away at home, following a brief illness, Tuesday, October 17, 2017. She was born June 17, 1933 in Kittanning, daughter of the late Howard P. Wickline and Virginia L. (Kennedy) Wickline, Moore. Delores has lived most of her life in Natrona Heights where she was a homemaker and member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Brackenridge. She graduated in 1951 from Kittanning High School. Delores was an avid traveler and has visited every state in the union. She enjoyed cooking and baking.             Survivors include her daughters, Sheila P. (Robert) Gahagan, S. Buffalo Twp., Deborah L. (Robert) Simpson, New Castle and Pamela J. Metzler, Natrona Heights; grandchildren Melissa (Ron) Sowinski, Boyers, PA, Rich Horgos, Jr., Rochester, Jean (Mat) Fisher, Lower Burrell and Rob (Julie) Gahagan, III, Cowansville; great grandchildren Courtney & Cody Sowinski, Robert Gahagan, IV and Riley Gahagan, Justin & Vanessa Fisher and Richie Horgos. Also surviving are her step brothers, Dr. Daniel (Margaret) Moore, Spartansburg, SC, and Edgar (Cherie) Moore, Chester, VA. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence E. Metzler, step father Paul D. Moore and step Brother Paul Moore.                         Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 where services will be held on Friday at 11 AM with Rev.
