Dennis J. Pacek

           Dennis J. Pacek, 68, of Jefferson Township, passed away at home Saturday, September 30, 2023 after being ill the past 4 years. He was born July 12, 1955 in Natrona Heights to the late Joseph and Clara (McIntyre) Pacek. Dennis lived most of his life in Jefferson Township and was a laborer for Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corp, Brackenridge for 30 years and also worked for Graff Surveying in Saxonburg. He was a member of Holy Sepulcher Church in Butler and a 1973 graduate of Highlands High School. Dennis enjoyed fishing and hunting, going to his Tionesta camp with his brothers and friends and his  Canadian fishing trips. Dennis especially enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s events until most recently when his health did not allow.

            Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Barbara A. (Petit) Pacek; his children, twins Dr. Corey A. (Athena) Pacek, of Butler and Carley A. (Rob) Wyant, of Economy Boro and son Tate (Becky) Pacek, of Saxonburg. Grandchildren Jackson, Zane, Deianira and Leda Pacek, Dexter and Annie Wyant and Alex and Max Pacek. Also surviving are his brothers Bill Pacek, of Tarentum and Charlie Pacek, of Natrona Heights, sisters Clara “Sis”, Linda and Jeanne, sisters-in-law Sandy Cogley, of Apollo and Amy (Joe) Gettinger, of Creighton and numerous extended families. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by brother Jerry Pacek, nephew Jerry and niece Erin.

            Visitation 5-7 PM Tuesday and Wednesday from 12-8 PM in Duster Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 347 E 10^th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Christian funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10 AM in Holy Sepulcher Church, 1304 E Cruikshank Rd, Butler, PA 16002. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.
