Dolores "Peg" J. Singer

Dolores J. “Peg” (Rigatti) Singer, 85, formerly of Natrona Heights, passed away Monday, October 9, 2017 at Logan Place, Lower Burrell. She was born January 16, 1932 in Albon, PA, daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Skross) Rigatti. Peg lived most of her life in Natrona Heights and was the former co owner of the Do Drop Inn Restaurant and Bar in Natrona Heights.  She was a member of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Natrona Heights. Peg graduated from Har-Brack High School in 1950 and enjoyed bingo, shopping and the casinos. She especially enjoyed her family, children and grandchildren.             Survivors include her children Robert J. “Bob” (Gwen) Singer, New Kensington and Shelly (Mark A.) Marshall, Sr., South Buffalo Twp.; grandchildren Robert P. “Robbie” (Ashley) Singer, William “Bill” (Samantha) Singer, both of Natrona Heights, Mark A. (Shannon) Marshall, S. Buffalo Twp., Todd Monti, Illinois, Michelle (Kirk) McDowel, Port Allegheny, Gail Leyland, Ford City, Misty Chybrzynski, Natrona, Pastor Nicholas (Niki) Chybrzynski, Tarentum and Jessica (Brandon) Knarr, Sarasota, FL. Also surviving are 16 great grandchildren and Son in law Leo Monti, Natrona Heights. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert W. Singer, Jr. in 2009; daughter Pamela Monti in 2010; grandchildren Heather Lynn Marshall, 1995, Joseph M. Singer, 2013 and Fred Leyland, 2015; Sisters Genevieve “Honey” Trefelner and Eileen Farenau and Brother Joseph Rigatti.             Christian Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 10 AM in Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Natrona Heights. Burial in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.
