Donna L. Thimons

Donna L. Thimons, 74, of Brackenridge, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2021, at Belair Health Care & Rehabilitation Center, in Lower Burrell, surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 12, 1946, in New Kensington, a daughter of the late Alfiero and Mildred (DeLorenzo) Lanfaloni. Donna was of the Catholic faith, a dental assistant for many years in Natrona Heights and a resident of Brackenridge for nearly 50 years. She graduated from Arnold High School in 1964. Donna loved spending time with her family, children and grandchildren, and she especially enjoyed traveling to the beach with them.

 

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Gary F. Thimons; her children, Heather L. (Robert) Stevens, of Greensburg, and Chad M. (Tracy) Thimons, of Murrysville; five grandsons, Jack McBride, Vincent, Alexander, William and Tristian Stevens; and three granddaughters, Brynnlee, Brielle and Blakely Thimons. Also surviving is her sister, Sharyn Bordonaro, of Arnold.

 

Visitation was Friday in the DUSTER FUNERAL HOME INC., 347 E. Tenth Ave., Tarentum, PA 15084, 724-224-1526, where a blessing service was conducted by Father Kenneth Zaccagnini. Burial was in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell. Donna's family sends a special thanks to the nurses and staff at Belair Nursing Home as well as the Heritage Hospice Staff for their wonderful care.
