Doris J. Staninecz

Doris J. Staninecz, 84, of Natrona Heights, passed away at the home of her daughter Wednesday, February 10, 2021. She was born March 9, 1936 in West Winfield to the late Robert and Ruth (Gamble) Crawford. Doris lived most of her life in Natrona Heights where she was a homemaker. She also was an aide at Allegheny Valley Residence in Tarentum for 20 years. Doris enjoyed spending time with her family, and especially with her children and grandchildren.

            Survivors include her daughters, Marlene J. (Michael) George, of Brackenridge and Michelle L. (Jason) Napier, of Lower Burrell; grandchildren Rebecca L. George and Amanda Michalek, of Brackenridge, Lauryn M. George and Nevin Sherman, of Brackenridge and Shane and Ty Napier, of Lower Burrell. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Michael Staninecz in 2009; daughter Wanda Staninecz and 12  brothers and sisters.

            Private family visitation was held in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10^th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 with Dan D. Hamilton, of Grane Hospice officiating. Burial was in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights. The family would like to give a special thank you to close family friend Crystal Lamison for all her love and support.
