Dorothy Jean Gann

          Dorothy Jean Gann, 74, of Natrona Heights and previously of Yuba City, CA, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Platinum Ridge Rehabilitation, Brackenridge where she was a resident for 2 years. She was born July 18, 1948 in Marysville, CA to the late Dale Allen and Ruby (DeWitt) Cooper. Dorothy lived the past 9 years in Natrona Heights and prior to that Yuba City, CA. She was a homemaker, collected baseball cards and was an Elvis fan.

          Survivors include her sons, Carl (Stephanie) Petty, of San Diego, CA and Vernon Petty, of Natrona Heights; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Also surviving are 8 brothers and sisters and a niece with whom she lived, Susan R. (David) Spencer, of Natrona Heights. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, son Jimmy Petty and a sister Darlene Blessing.
