Dorothy Mae Gault, age 86, of Jefferson, Georgia formerly of Murrysville, Pennsylvania, peacefully passed away on Friday October 3, 2025.
Mrs. Gault was born May 13th 1939 in Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania; daughter of the late Michael and Sophie (Hensel) Pish. Dorothy worked for an engineering firm in Pittsburgh, PA for 12 years as a computer operator. Of the many projects that she worked on, the most well-known one is the St. Louis Arch.
After the birth of her first child, Dorothy was an incredible stay at home mother to her two children. She made fabulous baked goods and delicious meals for her family and friends. Dorothy loved people and gave the biggest and best hugs. She had a beautiful singing voice and sang in the choir at Christ the King Lutheran Church, where she was a member.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jason Thomas Gault, along with her brothers, Michael Pish, George Pish, Paul Pish, Joseph Pish, Robert Pish and her sisters Helen Pish, and Emilie Krstonich.
Dorothy is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 60 years, Thomas Richard Gault and their daughter, Kimberly Ann Sinning (Kurt); granddaughter, Amanda Munro-Foulis (Rogan); grandson, Thomas W. Sinning, and brother Richard Pish as well as many extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at Duster Funeral Home, Tarentum, PA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, October 20, 2025, at Duster Funeral Home with internment following at Mt. Airy Cemetery, 2800 Old Freeport Rd, Natrona Heights, PA where she will be laid to rest with her son, Jason.
