E. Richard Adams, 81, of Manor Twp., passed away unexpectedly at home Thursday, March 3, 2022. He was born November 2, 1940 in Natrona Heights to the late Eugene and Sophie (Mochanski) Adams. Richard lived most of his life in New Kensington and the Tarentum area. He was a carpenter for the carpenter union 333 in Pittsburgh for 45 years. Richard was a veteran of the Vietnam era serving in the Army. He was of the Catholic faith and a member of the New Kensington and Tarentum Eagles and the Lower Burrell VFW. A graduate of Tarentum High school, he enjoyed boating, fishing, was a Steeler fan and an avid Pitt Football fan.
Survivors include his daughters, Traci J. (Jay Kiehlmeier) Evans, of Manorville and Andrea L. (Kevin) Lettrich, of Lower Burrell. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Seth (Becca) Evans, Jordan Lettrich, Shane (Taylor) Evans, Brendan Lettrich and Genna Evans; great grandchildren Thea Evans and Lillian Plummer; step grandchildren Hannah (Dustin) Dunmire and Katie Kiehlmeier and step great grandchildren Dexter Dunmire and Lincoln Kiehlmeier. Also surviving are his sisters Helen Supik, of Tarentum and Judy Mochanski, of Lower Burrell. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Patricia Bair.
