Edward Bergstrom

Edward Bergstrom, 86, formerly of Natrona Heights, passed away Saturday January 12, 2019 at Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot. He was born December 24, 1932 in Natrona to the late Verner and Lydia (Lefdahl) Bergstrom. Edward lived most of his life in Natrona Heights where he was the Branch Manager for the former Southwest Bank, Natrona Heights for 30 years. He was of the Protestant faith and a graduate of Har Brack High School.  Edward was the past President of the Tarentum Lions Club and member of Tarentum Sportsman’s club. Edward enjoyed his many fishing trips to Canada.

          Survivors include his son Mark A. (Debbie) Bergstrom, Buffalo Twp., Daughter in law Mary (Jendrey) Bergstrom, Lower Burrell; 3 grandchildren Nicole Bergstrom, MD, Matthew (Agatha) Bergstrom, WA and Michael Bergstrom, Erie and 3 great grandchildren Ashton, Avania and  Emilia. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Olga I. (Oravec) Bergstrom in 1999, son Tim E. Bergstrom 2010, Brothers Oscar and Robert Bergstrom and sisters Betty Carney and Florence Porter.
