Eileen (Omland) Lardin, Mosley, 91, of Buffalo Township, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Concordia at Rebecca Residence, Allison Park. She was born December 26, 1931 in Curtisville, West Deer Township to the late Walter and Anna M. (Kristoff) Omland. Eileen lived the past 45 years in Buffalo Twp. She was a homemaker and also worked as a secretary for Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corp. and the Valley News. She was of the Methodist faith and a graduate of West Deer High School.
Eileen lived a life of deep faith in God and shared her faith through her music and Bible Study. She will be remembered for her beautiful singing voice in the church choir and as a soloist at hundreds of weddings. She also was the only female soloist in the All-Men’s Alle-Kiski chorus. She loved music and enjoyed sharing her talent with everyone, it was everything to her. Her farm was her heaven on earth, where she loved to garden and enjoyed being surrounded by Nature, God’s glorious masterpiece. She was always a kind, giving and loving spirit offering encouragement and words of support to anyone in need. Anyone who knew her loved her. She loved unconditionally and wholeheartedly and was a powerful example of love personified. Her love will live on in our hearts.
A special thanks to the staff at Concordia at Rebecca Residence, Good Samaritan Hospice and her friend and aide, Rose Nelson, who she loved like a daughter.
Survivors include her daughters, Janie L. Tanilli, of Buffalo Twp. and Marcia A. Siemsen, of Louisville, CO. Also surviving is a sister Loretta Norris, of Winfield Township.
