Eleanor J. Hess

Eleanor J. Hess, 91, of Fawn Township, passed away at the home of her daughter Marcia and son-in-law Luke on Saturday, August 13, 2022. She was born August 23, 1930 in Tarentum to the late Charles and Catherine (Wright) Yeasted. Eleanor lived her entire life in the area. She was a homemaker, member of Faith Lutheran Church, Natrona Heights and a graduate of Tarentum High School.

            Survivors include her children, Dean Hess, of Pittsburgh, Marcia L. (Luke) Thompson, of Fawn Township and Ralph Hess, of Cabot. Also surviving is a grandson Luke A. Thompson, of Ormond Beach, FL. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Russell L. Hess in 2018 and a brother Donald Yeasted.
