Eleanor M. Kalwarski

Eleanor M. Kalwarski, 94, of Tarentum, passed away Monday, April 16, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospice of Concordia, Cabot. She was born March 26, 1924 in Natrona, to the late Frank and Mary (Schmaus) Crytzer.  Eleanor lived in Natrona and Tarentum all of her life where she was a homemaker and former member of St. Joseph Parish, Natrona and currently Holy Martyrs Church, Tarentum. Eleanor graduated from Har Brack High school and was a Meals on Wheels volunteer for many years. She enjoyed cards and especially enjoyed her family.

            Survivors include her children, Deborah M. Conroy, Tarentum, Judith A. (James) Shelly, Connecticut and Michael F. (Carlene) Kalwarski, Natrona Heights. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Walter F. Kalwarski in 1990; brother Francis Crytzer and sister Mary C. Kislic.

            Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10^th Ave, Tarentum, where a prayer service will be held on Monday at 9:30 am followed by a Christian Funeral Mass at 10 AM in Holy Martyrs Church, Tarentum with Rev. Thomas L. Gillespie, MD, officiating. Burial in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
