Eric James Kamer, II, 46 of Brackenridge passed away at home Saturday, January 5, 2019. He was born July 15, 1972 in Harrison Township to Theresa M. “Terri” (Malinsky) Kamer, Brackenridge and the late Eric J. “Jim” Kamer, I in 2010. Eric lived his entire life in Brackenridge and was an auto mechanic in Tarentum for many years. He was a member of Holy Martyrs Church, Tarentum and a graduate of Highlands High School. Eric was everybody’s mechanic. He was an auto enthusiast and enjoyed races at Lernerville. He enjoyed camping with his father and sister and brother in law Adrienne and Scott in their motor home. He also enjoyed ATV riding at Marienville, the outdoors; he loved animals and travelling to Benezette for Elk sightings.
Besides his mother, survivors include his sister Adrienne M. Latini (Scott English), Natrona Heights, nephew Frederick F. (Casey) Latini, III, Allison Park, uncle Robert J. Malinsky, Tarentum, uncle and aunt Kenneth H. (Denise) Malinsky, Mentor, OH and several cousins also survive. A special thanks to the staff at Allegheny Valley Hospital.
Visitation 4-8 PM Tuesday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Christian funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 AM in Holy Martyrs Church, Tarentum with Rev. Aaron J. Kriss, officiating. Burial will be private.
