Erin M. Pacek, 42, formerly of Natrona Heights, passed away at home Wednesday, December 21, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 4, 1980 in Pittsburgh, daughter of Charles O. Pacek, Sr., and Kate E. (Barclay) Pacek. Erin lived most of her life in Natrona Heights and Brackenridge and was of the Christian faith. She was a secondary education teacher and taught Social Studies in Virginia for a number of years. Erin graduated from Highlands High School in 1998 and the University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown campus. She enjoyed being in the musicals in high school, dance group in college and loved music, reading and certain TV shows. Erin was a straight A student and was a member of the National Honor Society and received a scholarship from TW Philips Gas & Oil Company. The family would like to give a special thank you to Ashley Ostrowski for her loving care of their daughter Erin.
Besides her parents, Erin is survived by her siblings Charles O. (Victoria) Pacek, Jr., of Phoenix, AZ, Rachel (Brian) Magliochette, of Greentree, Pgh, Madeline (Matt) Ozyer-Key, of Natrona Heights and Claire Pacek and Josh Chensny, of Pittsburgh. Also surviving is a niece Lucy Pacek, of Phoenix, AZ, her Aunt Sis and numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Caregiver and best friend Ashley Ostrowski, of Natrona Heights and her dog Willa.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday from 1PM until the time of service at 4PM at Duster Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 with Rev. C. Drew Myers, officiating. Burial in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Twp. will be private. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to Multiple Sclerosis Society. VISIT: dusterfh.com
