Esther L. Marasia

Esther L. Marasia, 72, of Natrona, passed away Friday, May 6, 2022 at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights following a brief illness. She was born November 8, 1949 in Harrison Township, to the late Ralph and Vincenzina (Pisani) Marasia. Esther lived most of her life in Brackenridge where she was a homemaker and also worked at various businesses in the local area. She was of the Pentecostal faith and a graduate of Har Brack High School and member of PNA, Natrona.  Esther enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports, gardening, baking, Facebook and watching her mongoose.

            Survivors include her children, Angela M. Rains, of Natrona and Lenny D. (Catherine) Rains, Jr., of Arnold. Grandchildren Celina M. Rains, Ethan Rains and twins Gavin and Mackayla Rains; great grandchildren Cayleb, Christian and Angelina Davies. Also surviving is her sister, Louise (Scott) Healy, of Brackenridge and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings, Patricia Mike, Ralph Marasia, Paulina Lopreiato and Rachel Durzo.

            Visitation Tuesday 2-4 PM and 6PM until the time of service at 7PM in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10^th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526  with Pastor Jeremy D. Olszewski, officiating. Burial will be private.  VISIT: dusterfh.com
