Frances M. Gohn

            Frances M. Gohn, 89, Butler Twp., formerly of Tarentum, passed away Saturday October 21, 2023 at the home of her daughter following a brief illness. She was born July 16, 1934 in Arnold to the late Frank and Jennie(Vacek) Hrosko. Frances lived the past 54 years in Butler Township. She was a Head cashier for Zayre’s Department store in Butler. She was a member of St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, Butler and a 1952 graduate of East Deer Frazer High School. Frances was a coin and antique collector, enjoyed gardening and was an avid animal lover.

            Survivors include her children, Jennie L. Budway, of Stoneboro and Albert E. Gohn, III, of Butler Twp. Grandchildren Kristy Sheffer, of Sandy Lake, Benjamin (Kathryn) Bachinsky, of Murfreesboro, TN and Jeremy Gohn, of Butler. Also surviving are 5 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert E. Gohn, Jr. and 5 sisters.
