Frances "Jean" Yannuzzi

Frances “Jean” Yannuzzi, 81, of Tarentum, passed away at home, Tuesday, February 12, 2019. She was born June 9, 1937 in Arnold to the late James and Frances (Marek) Massimini. Jean lived most of her life in Tarentum where she was a Swimming Instructor at the Allegheny Valley YMCA in Tarentum and Natrona Heights. She was a member of Holy Martyrs Church, Tarentum, Pieceful Patches Quilt Guild and Summit Hose Co. Ladies Auxiliary where she was the past President for 20 years. Jean graduated in 1955 from Arnold High School and enjoyed teaching young children to swim, quilting, and reading the Bible. She especially enjoyed her family, children, grandchildren and her great grandchildren.

            Survivors includer her children, Steven J. (Nancy) Yannuzzi, Hill, NH, Vicki J. (Don) Frantz, Natrona Heights and Frank D. (Joyce) Yannuzzi, Jr., New Braunfels, TX; grandchildren Ryan J. (Sally) Yannuzzi, Williamsburg, VA, Candace (Jason) West, Claremont, NH, Shannon (Bob) Cataldi, McKees Rocks, Vincent Yannuzzi, Tarentum, Jennifer Yannuzzi, San Antonio, TX, Allyson Yannuzzi and fiancé Travis Toppert, Dallas, TX, Sean Patrick Frantz, Natrona Heights, Erik J. Frantz, Natrona Heights; great grandchildren Lydia Yannuzzi, Williamsburg, VA and Ryan James and Alexander West, Claremont, NH. Also surviving is a sister Henrietta Mac, Wayne, MI. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Frank D. Yannuzzi, Sr. in 2012.

            Visitation 6-8PM Saturday and Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10^th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 where a blessing service will be held on Monday at 9:30 am followed by a Christian funeral mass at 10 AM at Holy Martyrs Church, Tarentum.
