Gail A. Bash

Gail A. Bash, 72, of Lower Burrell, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh after being ill the past year. He was born July 7, 1949 in Natrona Heights to the late Albert and Evelyn (Vorpe) Bash. Gail lived most of his life in the AK Valley and worked in the Janitorial Department at Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corp., Brackenridge for 32 years. He was a member of Tarentum Eagles, Lower Burrell VFW, Slovak Club and the Outdoor Life Lodge. Gail graduated in 1969 from the former Har Brack High School in 1969 and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

            Survivors include his children, Kimberly A. (Chubby) Bharat, of Queens, NY, Jennifer L. (Joseph) Ambroise, of Houston, TX, and Timothy G. (Cathy) Bash, of Lower Burrell; grandchildren Colton Brown, Sebastian Ambroise and Peyton Bash. Also surviving is a sister Susan Bash, of Brackenridge. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his fiancé of 15 years Sally Smith, and his brothers Alvin Richard and Robert Bash.
