Garey J. Clemens, 73, of Lower Burrell, passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021 at UPMC St. Margaret Hospital, Pittsburgh after being ill the past year. He was born May 5, 1948 in Pittsburgh to Madeline (Grippo) Koepfinger, of Moon Township. Garey lived most of his life in Moon Township and Lower Burrell. He was a foreman for various departments at Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corp, Brackenridge for 30 years and also was employed at Westinghouse Corp. for a number of years. Garey was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was of the Catholic faith. He was a member of River Forest Country Club and was an avid golfer. Garey graduated from Moon High school and was an usher at Heinz Field. He volunteered at the VA and also Oakmont Country Club. Garey was a good person with a great sense of humor who loved his family and his animals.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Cathy F. (Finik) Clemens; his children, Christine A. Clemens, of Los Angeles, CA and Kyle L. Clemens (Gage Lester) , of Ocean City, MD. Also surviving are his sister, Charmane Winters, of NY and his step father Joseph Koepfinger, of Moon Township. Beside his father, George Clemens he was preceded in death by his brother John Clemens and his first step father, Daniel Masucci.
