Gary Lee Wojcik, 57, of Grafton, WV, formerly of New Kensington, passed away Friday, December 22, 2017 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born June 14, 1960 in New Kensington to Violet (Spece) Wojcik, New Kensington and the late Henry “Riz” Wojcik who passed away in 2008. Gary has lived the past 25 years in Grafton,West Virginia and prior to that New Kensington and the Pittsburgh area. He was a Jet Engine Technician for Pratt and Whitney. Gary was a veteran of US Air Force from 1983-1987 and of the Catholic faith. Gary was a member of the American Legion, Bridgeport, WV. He graduated in 1978 from Valley High school and the Pittsburgh Institute of Aerodynamics. Gary enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle. He could fix anything and was great with his hands.
Survivors include his long time companion Chrissy Musta, Grafton, WV; daughter Ashley C. Smith, Pittsburgh and granddaughter Reagan, Pittsburgh; brother Jerry (Deborah) Wojcik, Hampton, VA and Sister Susan (Don) Allen, Buffalo Twp.; nieces Kasamira Wojcik, Hampton, VA and Lexi Allen and nephew Zach Allen of Buffalo Twp. Also surviving is a close friend Mary Musta, Moon Twp.
Visitation 4-8 PM Tuesday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 where a Panachida will be held on Wednesday at 9 AM followed by a Divine Liturgy at 9:30 am in Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Tarentum with Rev. Wesley M. Mash, officiating. Burial in West Virginia National Cemetery, Grafton, WV, with Military Honors. VISIT: dusterfh.com
