Genevieve A. Secrist

Genevieve A. Secrist,77 of Buffalo Twp. died Sunday, August 8,2021 at Good Samaritan Hospice at  Concordia, Cabot. She was born Nov 12,1943 in Verona,  Pa. a daughter of the late Frank and Josephine  (Ugnich)  Petika.

Genevieve lived most of her life in Plum Boro, and was the Club Steward of the Tarentum Eagles for over 20 yrs. She was a member of St,Joseph R.C. Church, Verona, and a member of the Tarentum Eagles .Genevieve enjoyed crocheting, cooking, but she especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors  include her children , Carrie (Bert)  White, Fawn Twp, Michael & Carolyn)  Sportelli, and Dawn  Secrist, Buffalo Twp. 3 Grandchildren, Rachel,  Valerie, & Tyler  Sportelli, and 2 Sisters,  Paula (Richard)  Cecil, in Florida, and Celeste (Martin)  Wilkinson in Iowa.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her Husband of 40 yrs., Harry  T.  Secrist  Jan 3,2021,and a brother Matthew  Petika.

Visitation will be Thurs Aug 12^th from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at 10:00 AM in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc, 347 East 10^th Avenue,Tarentum,Pa15084 724-224-1526 .
