George Bartak

George Bartak, 91, of Fawn Township, passed away Friday, July 9, 2021 at Butler Memorial Hospital. He was born June 30, 1930 in Georgetown, PA, Beaver County to the late August and Anna (Jancina) Bartak. George lived most of his life in Fawn Township and was a machinist at Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corporation in Brackenridge. He was a veteran of the Korean era serving in the US Army and was a member of Lower Burrell VFW. George graduated from Har Brack High School in 1948 and enjoyed fishing, gardening, travelling and the outdoors.

          Survivors include a number of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, John, August and Joseph Bartak.
